Please check with your insurance company to make sure that we are in-network and to find out whether you need a referral to see us. Usually they have a website where you can access a list of providers in your network. With the Affordable Care Act (ACA), we are finding that there are many new plans and we are not necessarily automatically contracted with them even though we were before ACA. In addition, your plan may request a referral to see us even though it did not have such requirement before.
Since more and more insurance plans are high deductible plans, it is our policy to collect your copay, coinsurance and deductible at the time of the visit. On the day of your visit, we will estimate all your financial responsibilities as accurately as we can. If your insurance pays more than our estimations, we will refund you as soon as possible, normally within 3 business days after receiving the EOBs (explanation of benefits) from your insurance company.
